S. Kay Young is a Native American Detroit-based artist with a 37-year photographic career. She is an adjunct professor at Oakland Community College. For more than ten years she has worked as a mentor/teacher at Focus Hope, Detroit. She has exhibited widely, including a solo exhibition at the Detroit Institute of Arts. She has also lectured at the Smithsonian for the American Indian. her wourk is in numerous private and corporate collections. |
